STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

REV. MELVIN D. BOONE

GAMMON STUDENT

"I was looking for a seminary that would speak to me in the context I come from, and Gammon fit that mold. It became more than just a place to get ordained—it was an experience. The professors weren’t just teachers; they were counselors, guiding me through both academic and personal growth."

REV. ATHENA DICKEY-CATHCART

GAMMON STUDENT

"I was torn between schools until I attended a conference filled with beautiful Black women discussing opportunities at Gammon. Learning from the professors has given me insight into who I am and who God has called me to be. Gammon’s commitment to growth is individualized—they truly take the time to understand and develop you."

REV. KEYA J. HILLMAN

GAMMON ALUMNI

"Gammon absolutely changed my idea of myself as a pastor, a leader, and a contributor to society. It shaped my trajectory in ministry—preparing me for hard but meaningful work both inside the church and now in regional development. Gammon gave me permission to think beyond traditional boxes and engage today’s questions with a fresh perspective."
