ACCREDITATION​​

​Gammon Theological Seminary is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award degrees at the masters level. Gammon also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. THE ASSOCIATION OF THEOLOGICAL SCHOOLS (ATS)

Gammon Theological Seminary is an Associate Member of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in the United States and Canada and has formally entered the ATS accreditation process.

Associate Membership recognizes Gammon's commitment to theological education excellence and marks the beginning of a comprehensive self-study and peer-review process. Through this process, Gammon is evaluating its educational programs, institutional resources, student outcomes, and mission effectiveness in alignment with ATS standards.

The ATS Commission on Accrediting will consider Gammon's application for accreditation following completion of the 2026 self-study process and peer review.

AUTHORIZATION AND REGULATORY APPROVALS

​

Gammon Theological Seminary is an applicant for consideration as a participant in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), enabling the institution to offer distance education to students in participating states in compliance with state authorization requirements.
As a theological institution of the United Methodist tradition, Gammon is also recognized by the University Senate of The United Methodist Church.
