Gammon Theological Seminary welcomed students, faculty, alumni, and friends to campus for Grow Week, an immersive MDiv intensive marked by rigorous scholarship, vibrant worship, and deep community engagement. Throughout the week, students engaged in courses in Christian ethics, womanist theology, biblical studies, pastoral care, and topics like wellness, while chapel services, justice-centered conversations, and shared meals fostered spiritual formation and meaningful connection.

Two moments stood out as powerful highlights of the week. The first was the inaugural Bishop Leontine T. C. Kelly and Dr. Angella Current Felder Lecture Series, which celebrated two pioneering leaders in The United Methodist Church. Their leadership reshaped what was possible for generations to come. During the lecture, Dr. Stacey Floyd-Thomas invited the community to reflect on the enduring witness of womanist thought and honored the sacred inheritance carried forward by a new generation of leaders.

Another highlight was Gammon’s Gathering of Gratitude. This special reception first welcomed donors, supporters, and trustees whose generosity makes this work possible. Afterwards, the reception created space for fellowship and reflection, as students and supporters connected around the shared vision of Gammon 3.0.​

Together, these moments reflected the heart of Gammon’s mission of forming a just and generative world for all. Grow Week strengthened students academically and spiritually, while reminding the entire community of faithful partnership and our collective investment in Gammon 3.0.
