GAMMON’S PASTORS & LEADERS CONFERENCE
Gammon Theological Seminary's Pastors & Leaders Conference is a transformational gathering designed to expand the theological, academic, and programmatic reach of Gammon 3.0. With a focus on equipping clergy, lay leaders, and faith-based innovators, the conference attracts a diverse group of participants from across denominations, generations, and communities.
Through interactive workshops, dynamic lectures, strategic partnerships, and a deep commitment to justice-centered leadership, the conference fosters space for critical learning, prophetic imagination, and collective impact. Attendees are empowered to lead with vision, courage, and spiritual grounding in the face of social and political change, creating a just and generative world.
Now more than ever, as the church is called to respond to a shifting democracy and rising injustice, PLC 2025 offers timely support, collaboration, and inspiration. Grounded in the theme A Charge to Keep: Awakening Our Prophetic Imagination for This Present Age, this gathering strengthens leaders for faithful ministry and liberating witness in the world. Rooted in the sacred week of Gammon's Founders Day, it is a celebration of legacy, prophetic call, and communal formation.

Pastoral Care & Self-Care: Dr. Danielle Buhuro
This workshop equips leaders with trauma-informed practices and care strategies rooted in a theology of liberation and healing. Participants will explore sustainable self-care models that enable prophetic leadership while tending to their own mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
Biblical Interpretation & Ethics: Dr. Candace Laughinghouse & Dr. Monica Rey
Designed for those committed to justice-centered ministry, the sessions will provide tools for interpreting Scripture through a moral and liberative lens that speaks to "this present age."
Prophetic Leadership, Preaching & Justice: Dr. Anthony Hunt
Grounded in the Black church tradition, this workshop equips participants to preach, teach, and lead with boldness. Leaders will sharpen their prophetic voice to name injustice, inspire hope, and imagine new possibilities for the church and the world.
Ebony Exploration: Dr. Kylan Pew
For emerging leaders ages 18-35 who are discerning God's call to ministry. This workshop invites participants to listen deeply, ask big questions, and respond boldly to God's voice in community. Centered in vocational discernment and spiritual formation.
Prophetic Imagination & Financial Wellness: Presented by Wespath Ministry
This session will explore the connection between prophetic imagination and personal/professional financial well-being. Learn how to build a life of impact that is sustainable, secure, and values-aligned.
Lunch & Learn: Rudy & Juanita Rasmus
This powerful session will highlight scalable, spirit-led approaches to community transformation. With a focus on sustainability and joy, the Rasmuses will share lessons from decades of ministry that integrate prophetic imagination, radical hospitality, and practical strategy.
Technology, Media, and the Church in a Shifting Culture Plenary: Kenny Jhang
This plenary will explore the intersection of prophetic imagination and digital innovation. Participants will reflect on how church leaders can leverage technology to amplify justice work, strengthen discipleship, and foster deeper community engagement in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Scholarship Gala: "Legacy Nights"-A Tribute to Prophetic Witness
Dress Code: Semi-Formal African Attire or Afro-Future Glam
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Albert Mosley
Join us for an unforgettable evening of elegance, inspiration, and impact. "Legacy Nights" celebrates prophetic imagination, rooted identity, and the charge to serve “this present age” (Isaiah 58:12).
We will honor leaders shaping a just and generative future and raise critical scholarship funds for emerging theological voices. Featuring cultural expression, community celebration, and a keynote from Dr. Albert Mosley, this is more than a gala, it is a movement.
